time to begin planning for the most important fund-raising event of the Van
Buren Athletic Boosters, THE REVERSE
RAFFLE, which will be held on
The last raffle was a great success, thanks to people like you. As you know, some lucky people walked away with some substantial prizes. However, the big winners of the night are the students who participate in athletics at Van Buren Middle School and High School. Historically, the Van Buren Athletic Boosters have contributed over $15,000.00 annually in support of the athletes, cheerleaders and coaches. The funds are used for new equipment, facilities, awards, pictures, and scholarships.
The format for this year’s event will be similar to the past. The “Reverse Raffle” format will be used. The longer your ticket stays in the hopper, the better your chances are of winning the grand prize. The final ticket drawn will be the winner of the $5,000 GRAND PRIZE. Over $4,000.00 in other prizes will be awarded to lucky ticket holders. Dinner will consist of a buffet style meal. One meal is included with each raffle ticket purchased. Only 50 meal tickets will be sold. Again this year…we will reserve a table for your party up to 8. Just send in this order form along with the checks (money for all tickets must be included) and give us the names in your party and we will gladly reserve a table for you. Group seating can not be guaranteed if a table is not reserved.
