Hello!
I’m Erin Gentry, a special needs teacher at Van Buren Elementary
School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (1-8)
and Special Education (SLD K-12) at Bowling Green State
University. I have been teaching here at Van Buren four years.
My husband’s name is Shaun and we have a daughter named Ivy lin. We have a dog named Alice, and three cats whose names are
Titus, Abner, and Ripley. When I am not
teaching, I like to spend time with my parents and my five other brothers and
sisters and their children. In the spring and summer I love being
outdoors working in gardens, riding bikes, and roller blading.
I also love going to track meets to watch my brother long jump, high jump,
and run the hurdles. In the winter I like to sew quilts, sip hot tea,
and read long books. I also like to go to the movies with my husband
and go for relaxing walks at the Van Buren State Park.
