Mr. Newcomer has been at Van Buren Elementary since the 2001-2002 school year teaching fifth grade Language Arts.  He went to college in the "Bluegrass State", Kentucky, at Asburg College where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-8.  Mr. Newcomer just recently completed his Master's Degree in Education Administration at the University of Findlay and one day plans of becoming a principal like Mr. Lehman.      In his spare time, Mr. Newcomer likes to hunt, fish, golf, camp, travel, and attend Dave Matthews Band concerts.  He also enjoys spending time with his family and spoiling his nieces and nephews.
