When saving, ALWAYS include the assignment name and your name.  Other things you could include to help organize better include- the date (use dashes- not slashes/), the assignment name including chapter, page number, and/or topic.

It is good to begin creating folders on your thumb drive for each subject.  Within each subject make a folder for each chapter.

M-T-  No School-  HAPPY NEW YEAR

W-  Vocabulary Activity Ch 9- Coloring Map

HOW TO: Coloring Map-  Pick up a map of the Roman Empire in class.  Pick three colors (blue is a good choice for water, the other two are completely up to you).  Write your words and definitions straight across the page.  If you are writing in the water area on the map, use blue, when you cross a line, change to the appropriate color so that you are coloring the map using the words in the correct color.  reuse words and definitions to completely color the page.  Option- some people like to use a pen or marker to write, then fill in the background with crayon or colored pencil.  It makes a nice effect.

                      HW-  Complete the Coloring Map
