### 7th Grade Math Chapter 6: Ratios & Proportions

Below you will find tools (blog, class presentations, videos, websites) to enhance your understanding of Chapter 6 concepts. The SMARTBoard lessons that are presented in class are here in PDF format. Please keep in mind that these files will not be interactive like the class presentations due to the PDF format.

This document includes the Learning Targets for each lesson. It also provides a list of resources to help when you don't understand a concept!

This PowerPoint presentation reviews information discussed in class with additional practice problems. Answers are included for you to check your work!

Use this resources during the entire Ratios and Proportions unit of study. There are several videos on each topic throughout the chapter. This link takes you to the Virtual Nerd website. Once there, click on "Grade 7" then "Ratios and Proportional Relationships". All of the videos in this section can be watched throughout the unit!

This website has a lot of information and games that you can play to increase your understanding of ratios, rates, and percent of change. I suggest checking out the "Ratios" page of information and the "Unit Price Game".

This is a Khan Academy site and provides several examples of 7th grade ratios, rates, and proportional relationships. Many of the examples include fractions, which can be challenging. There are example problems and videos. You can click on your topic of interest!

This link takes you to the Virtual Nerd site. Once there, click on "Ratios, Proportions, and Percent" then "Proportions". The first 3 videos will review information discussed in class.
