L is for Lexington

The battle of Lexington began on April 19, 1775.
About 700 British soldiers were ordered to capture and destroy military supplies that were reportedly stored by the Massachusetts militia at Concord.
Eight pioneers were building the first cabin on the site when they heard about the opening battle of the Revolutionary War in America.
Lexington is liberty.
It was on the date of April 19 th .
When we think of Lexington ,
The name William Dawes dances though our heads!
