The letter V is for Victory at Trenton

By: Britton, Sierra and Kaydee

The British had decided to spend the winter at Trenton.

George Washington crossed the Delaware River with his troops to make a surprise attack on Britain.

George Washington's surprise attack worked perfectly. The British surrendered and the colonists won.

The Victory at Trenton was a very good thing

for George Washington and his troops.

After they crossed the Delaware River they taught the Hessians

a lesson they would never forget.
