The Colonists got help from Thaddeus Kosciuszko.He set up cannons on a hill in Saratoga .

They also got help from Marquis de Lafayette. He fought and he was a major general in Washington 's staff.

They also had help from Friedrich von Steuben. He helped by training the soldiers with the latest European fighting methods.

Lafayette did not fret when he met the British.

Steuben wasn't failn' those days that he was trainin' our soldiers.

Kosciuszko wasn't loco when he decided to fight and place those

cannons on that hill!
