At the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, December 19, 2024, board member Michael Leifheit received the Ohio School Board Association’s Aptitude Award. This award is part of the OSBA’s STAR Awards program, which recognizes board members from Ohio school districts for their achievements in Service, Training, Aptitude, and Recognition.
Leifheit earned the Aptitude Award for scoring at least an 80% on the 50-point assessment. With over ten years of experience on the board, his knowledge is a great asset to our district.
Thank you to Mr. Leifheit for his leadership and commitment to the Van Buren Local School District!
