In the interview, Lacey shares about how a typical day looks for her, the various levels of nursing including LPN and RN, how she spent nine and a half years working at Whirlpool before deciding to go to school to become a nurse, what college life was like as a non-traditional student, and much more. Spanish III, IV, and Healthy Options classes visited the Sofia Quintero Art & Cultural Center in Toledo. They learned about the center's mission to help the community and spread Latino culture, painted alebrijes (Mexican spirit animals), and prepared their own lunch, which consisted of homemade enchiladas, pico de gallo, and watermelon agua fresca. #BeABlackKnight
