This previous weekend, all VBHS choirs and the VBHS Band attended State Choir and Band Competition! The Band (Class B) received a II (Excellent) in performance and a I (superior) in sight reading ending with an overall rating of II ( Excellent)! The Women's Chorus (Class C) received straight 1's (Superior) in performance and a II (Excellent) in sight reading, ending with an overall rating of 1 Superior! Men's Chorus (Class B) received straight 1's (Superior) in performance and a II (Excellent) in sight reading, ending with an overall rating of 1 Superior! Varsity Chorale (Class A) received straight 1's (Superior) in performance and a II (Excellent) in sight reading, ending with an overall rating of 1 Superior! The students put in lots of hard work leading up to their competitions and we love to see them representing Van Buren in such a fantastic way. Congratulations to all students in band and choir! #BeABlackKnight
