The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library Bookmobile will be at Van Buren on Monday, February 14, from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Middle and high school students can visit the bookmobile during their lunch periods, so if students have a FHCPL card, please be sure they have their cards so they can check out books. Students can also place holds on books using the FHCPL website (www.findlaylibrary.org) and pick those up on the bookmobile as long as they identify the bookmobile as the pick-up location (they still need to have their library cards with them). Students who don't have library cards can visit the library in Findlay (206 Broadway St.) to register for a card. Parents must be present with their children and have two forms of identification (one must be a photo ID). The bookmobile will also be making stops at the school from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. on February 28, March 14 & 28, April 11 & 25, and May 9 & 23.

Good Afternoon, I wanted to update everyone on the new COVID-19 guidance regarding contact tracing. On January, 26,2022, the Ohio Department of Health is allowing schools to discontinue universal contact tracing. What does this mean for all okf you? Nurse Judy Prater will no longer be contact tracing each positive case. We will be working with the Hancock Board of Health with any contact tracing, case investigation and exposure notification related to outbreaks or clusters, in our schools as determined by Hancock Board of Health. Our website has the latest documents from the Ohio Health Department for you to view. Our number of absences this week has been very low for students and staff. Thank you to all the parents that are continuing to keep your children at home if they do not feel well. Thank you to the staff for staying home if you do not feel well. If you chose to wear a mask, that is still an option for any parents who want their children to wear one. Have a great weekend and stay warm.
