Started our day with a "clap out" for our Boys and Girls golf team, followed by a pep rally for our State Qualifying Band and a golf competition #BeABlackKnight
The Junior Class will be raising money for Prom 2023 this Friday (10/14) evening during the homecoming game. A 50/50 raffle will be taking place before and during the game, with the winning ticket being drawn after half-time. Please remember to bring your cash so you can help out this great cause! Tickets will be 5 for $5.00, 15 for $10.00, and 40 for $20.00.

The Van Buren Local Schools Special Education Department is still accepting applications for a 1 on 1 Classroom Aide (part-time/full time). If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of students with multiple disabilities but don't feel like you have the proper training, we will provide training and facilitate securing an educational aide permit.

Parents, if you have a sophomore, junior, or senior considering a career in healthcare, you might want to have your student look at the job opportunities at Blanchard Valley Health System (https://bvhs.jobs.net/). They have a variety of positions available, and many are open to students aged 16+ who are looking for summer, after-school, or full-time jobs.
Experience is a great teacher, and the experience students gain now could help solidify their future career paths. Students might also figure out that a career in healthcare is not what they want to pursue, and that's still a win.
