- Group A (recess - lunch): Blue & Yellow Houses (Advisories: Obenour, Dishong, Miller, Bunn, Hafner, Marshall, Greer)
- Group B (lunch - recess): Green & Red Houses (Advisories: Tuccillo, O'Brien, Rodman, Doxsey, Hosler, Sines, Henry)
- *** Remember: No recess on block days!
- Menu: Chicken Chunks, French Fries, Salad, Asst. Fruit, Milk
MS Boys: Last call to sign up for MS Basketball. Registration end date is 11/6. Tryouts will be 11/7, 11/8, & 11/9. See Mr. Slauterbeck if interested.
We are selling water bottles (large for $1.25 and small for $0.75) in the MS/HS cafeteria during the mornings. Sales can be cash transactions or charged to lunch accounts.
The Lady Black Knights Golf Team concluded their season with 10 wins and 17 losses, finishing in 4th Place (South Division) and 7th Place out of 12 teams overall in the Northwest Ohio Girls Golf League. Claire Recker was awarded 2nd Team Honors in the League. Claire also received V.B. Team awards with Lowest Stroke Average- 46 and Rookie-of-the-Year. Ali Bishop was named "Miss Sportsmanship" and Taylor Stewart received the Most Improved award. The team was very successful and made it out of sectionals and advanced to the OHSAA Division II Districts this year. Northwest District awarded Honorable Mention to both Claire Recker and Ali Bishop. Other members of the team include Kaila Bowen, Grace Heitkamp, Kendra Odenweller, Charlotte Youngpeter, Peyton Odey, Katie Krantz, and Summer Siefer. Congratulations Black Knights for representing Van Buren with class and commitment this golf season. If you are an 8th grader and have an interest to join the team, please contact Coach Nye or Coach Archer as they will begin re-organizing for 2020 at the beginning of next year.
Lost Lunch boxes and water bottles have been put out in the cafeteria. Please take a minute to claim your items. Also, the lost and found in the office has a lot of nice sweatshirts and pullovers....are you missing any of yours? If so, stop in the office to look. Clothing and other misc. items will be put out during parent conferences in November.
God's Knights returns! All middle students are invited to join Adam Borsay and Kat Patterson every Thursday for God's Knights! This will be a time of encouragement in your day! We will meet in Mr. Bunn's room, bring your lunch. We hope to see you there!
